Successful Dspace MicroLab Box course

Dr. Yeiner Arias successfully taught the dSPACE MicroLabBox course to students at the Universidad de Chile and the Universidad de Santiago. The course consisted of training on real-time simulation devices, which allow the emulation of the behavior of an experimental setup considering effects that the simulations can’t, so this will enable us to have a first approach for an experimental result. Real-time devices avoid problems when implementing the proposed strategies because a not rigorous design of the controllers can damage the equipment in the experimental setup if no protection is considered. The course consisted of classes and exercises, where knowledge about digital systems is used to program these devices and implement the “Hardware-in-the-loop.”
