Fondecyt Regular 2026 Grants: Successful Applications by Roberto Cárdenas and Doris Saéz
The SHORE Project (ATE230035) announces that its Director, Roberto Cárdenas, and Principal Investigator, Doris Saéz, have been awarded highly competitive Fondecyt Regular 2026 grants. This year’s national funding cycle was highly selective; of the 2,535 proposals evaluated, 680 were successful, yielding an acceptance rate of 26.8%.

Research Team: The project will be undertaken in collaboration with co-investigators Luca Tarisciotti (Academic at Universidad Andrés Bello and Principal Investigator of the Ring Project) and Felix Rojas (Academic at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile). - Project Title: «AI-Based Control Strategies for Water-Energy-Food microgrids in rural communities»
