Researchers from the SHORE project (ANID/ATE230035) recently concluded a series of international research visits at leading universities to further global academic cooperation and technical development.

University of Nottingham (January – February 2026): Luca Tarisciotti and Constanza Ahumada conducted a research stay focused on power converter topologies and hydrogen generation. This research was developed in collaboration with Dr. Andrew Trentin and Professor Pat Wheeler.

Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (February 2026): Roberto Cárdenas completed a research visit primarily based at CITCEA UPC, an energy centre that hosts numerous PhD students and a power electronics subgroup. During his stay, he collaborated with Professor Oriol Gomis, Josep Bordonau, Sergio Busquets-Monge, Salvador Alepu, and the undersigned, as part of the Power Electronics Group.
