On September 3 and 4, members of the SHORE project (Anillo ATE230035) participated in the technical conference organised by the Advanced Centre for Electrical and Electronic Engineering (AC3E) to showcase their recent technological advancements.

During the event, Constanza Leiva presented her work titled: «Control Predictivo de Horizonte Largo aplicado al conversor modular multinivel Hexverter». Her research proposes long-horizon predictive control strategies for direct AC/AC conversion, designed to effectively reduce circulating currents and maintain capacitor voltage balance in low-frequency transmission systems.

Additionally, Ariel Molina presented his research titled: «Algoritmo CCS-MPC para regulación de convertidor Triple-Active Bridge». His work explores Continuous Control Set Model Predictive Control (CCS-MPC) to regulate TAB converters, improving dynamic and steady-state behaviour to efficiently interconnect generation, energy storage, and consumption systems.

Both presentations underscore the project team’s ongoing commitment to developing advanced control strategies for cutting-edge industrial applications.
