📢 Recently, Dr. Yeiner Arias-Esquivel, associate professor at the Technological Institute of Costa Rica (TEC), conducted a workshop related to the utilization of the platform PLECS-RT for hardware in the loop control. This platform can perform real-time simulations of systems with a high level of complexity.
🎓 Students from the University of Chile, University of Santiago, University of O’Higgins, Santa Maria Technical University and Andres Bello University participated in the workshop, which was held at the Power Electronic Lab at the University of Chile.
💻 The workshop considered lectures on programming the PLECS and DSPACE platforms for the control of the power converter being developed for the SHORE project. This is important because two DSPACE Microlab Box II platforms will be used to control the system to be built and tested at the power electronics labs of the University of Chile and Andres Bello University.
🔧 Hands-on work in experimental systems available at the power electronics lab, University of Chile, was also considered during this workshop. For the practical work, Patricio Pizarro (PhD student, U. of Chile) and Carlos Smart (PhD student, UTFSM) also participated as instructors.
👏 A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making this workshop possible!

Project supported by the National Agency for Research and Development of Chile (ANID).
