Dissemination with 8th grade students

On January 12 and 13, 2026, the SHORE project team conducted academic activities at the Saucache Campus of the University of Tarapacá in Arica. The event brought together over 200 7th and 8th-grade students for the workshop ‘Renewable Energies and Internet of Things: Intercultural Technological Co-design.’ The session was led by SHORE members Doris Sáez (Principal Investigator), Oscar Cartagena (Postdoctoral Researcher), and Karina Montaluisa (PhD Student). The activity aimed to demonstrate the practical implementation of renewable energy monitoring and the integration of intercultural perspectives into technological design.
